The Global Youth Ambassador Program is where you stop waiting to lead. Join a cohort, step into a real role, and grow through three tiers of leadership while you help power every campaign Echos of Change runs. A title, a team, and real responsibility, starting now.
This isn't a one-time volunteer slot. It's a role you grow into, with a title, a team, and a clear path forward. Ambassadors are the foundation every campaign is built on.
You've been told you're the future. What almost no one hands you is real responsibility today: something to lead, people to support, a thing to build.
The Ambassador Program gives you that, plus the cohort, mentorship, and structure to grow into it.
Ambassadors aren't helpers on the side. They're the foundation every campaign is built on.
Every Ambassador starts in the same place and grows through three tiers. Each one comes with more ownership, more mentorship, and a clear bar to reach the next.
You join a cohort, land in a pod, and start leading from day one. You take part in campaigns, show up to your pod's monthly rhythm, represent Echos of Change in your school and community, and build the habits of real leadership.
You take ownership of a piece of the work. You mentor newer Ambassadors, help run your pod, and lead a project or part of a campaign. This is where leading yourself turns into leading a team.
Experienced Ambassadors and alumni who guide the whole program. You mentor, run leadership training, and lead special projects. Senior Fellows are first in line for officer roles and leadership councils, the people who help run Echos of Change itself.
Senior Fellows step into officer positions and leadership councils, taking on real authority over programs, campaigns, and the direction of Echos of Change.
When it's time to move on, Ambassadors transition through the alumni off-ramp, staying connected, opening doors for each other, and mentoring the cohorts that follow.
The program is built so that support is structural, not something you have to go looking for.
You start alongside a whole group of peers who are all beginning together, so nobody is figuring it out alone.
A small team becomes your home base for collaboration, accountability, and day-to-day support.
Regular check-ins, project work, and leadership touchpoints keep momentum going between meetings.
Hit the bar for your tier and move up. Your progress is visible and earned, never a mystery.
As an Ambassador you're contributing continuously, so your verified service hours accrue across everything you do: campaigns, mentoring, projects, and pod work. The longer you serve, the more they build, and the further they can take you.
Because Ambassadors serve year-round, those hours add up fast toward the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), a recognition issued on behalf of the U.S. President that stands out on college, scholarship, and job applications. Reach a tier, and we'll help eligible members apply.
Hours count within a 12-month period. Open to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who meet PVSA eligibility, served through a recognized certifying organization.
Echos of Change is brand new, which means the first Ambassadors don't inherit a culture. They build it. Everything that comes after will be shaped by the people who start now. The founding cohort is forming, and it's intentionally small.
A campaign is something you do. Being an Ambassador is a role you hold. Ambassadors are the ongoing leadership core: you can lead or join any campaign, but you also represent the org, mentor others, and grow through tiers. Volunteers help with one thing; Ambassadors help run everything.
Bigger than dropping into a single campaign, because it's an ongoing role with a cohort counting on you. It's built to fit around school, but you're expected to show up consistently and follow through.
No. Initiative matters more than a résumé. The whole point of the tiers is that you start at Core and grow into the rest.
Each tier has a clear bar: consistent contribution and initiative to reach Lead, then sustained leadership and impact to reach Senior Fellow. Your progress is earned, not handed out for time served.
Yes. The cohort runs on a monthly rhythm designed to fit around schoolwork, so you can lead without falling behind.
The program runs virtually, so you can take part from anywhere in the world. Many Ambassadors also lead in-person work in their own schools and communities.
The founding cohort is forming. Step in at the start and help build what Echos of Change becomes.
