The Cross-Border Campaign brings young people together across countries to research the issues that matter and write advocacy letters that land on the desks of the people who can act. Real letters. Real institutions. Change led by you.
Not a class assignment. A letter with your name on it, going somewhere it will be read: the UN, embassies, governments, and humanitarian organizations around the world.
You care deeply about inequality, displacement, climate, and the right to learn. What almost no one gives you is a direct line to the institutions that decide what happens next.
The Cross-Border Campaign is that line, with the training, team, and support to use it well.
"We're not the leaders of tomorrow. We're leaders today, and this is where that starts."
Join as an individual, or bring your school or youth group. Ages 13-22, no experience needed.
We place you on an international team of two to four students from at least two countries.
Your team picks a human rights topic you genuinely care about, and that the world needs to hear about.
Use our toolkits to dig into the issue, the international law behind it, and the people it affects.
Write a formal advocacy letter together, with templates, writing guides, and mentor support.
Get feedback on accuracy, clarity, and sourcing before anything is sent.
Your finished letter goes to real decision-makers. Standout letters are published on our platforms.
Approved letters are submitted to the organizations and officials with the power to respond and to act.
Every part of the campaign earns credit: research, writing, team meetings, and advocacy. Complete a campaign cycle and you'll receive verified community service hours you can submit for school, National Honor Society, scholarships, and college applications. Hours are logged and certified by Echos of Change.
The service you log with Echos of Change can count toward the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), a recognition issued on behalf of the U.S. President that stands out on college, scholarship, and job applications. Hit a tier, and we'll help eligible members apply.
Hours count within a 12-month period. Open to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who meet PVSA eligibility, served through a recognized certifying organization.
Echos of Change is young, and the Cross-Border Campaign is being built right now. That's the opportunity. Early members don't just take part. They shape what this becomes. If you've ever wanted to help build something from the ground floor, this is it.
None at all. Toolkits, templates, workshops, and a mentor walk you through every step, from research to a finished letter. This is built for first-timers.
No. We match you into an international team of two to four students from at least two countries. You can also join together with a school or youth group if you'd prefer.
It's flexible. Most teams put in a few hours a week across the campaign, and all of that time counts toward your verified service hours.
There's no cost to apply or take part.
